It may be grey and rainy outside but shooting spring/summer collections, and looking ahead to Valentine's Day and Easter, has put a spring back in our step.

Photography Director Paul Downes faced his very own Easter challenge, spending over 1.5 hours constructing a mammoth chocolate Easter egg pyramid for Good Housekeeping's April issue. The Egyptian pyramids pale in comparison...

Reminiscing sunnier days, in-house retoucher Glyn continued retouching location and still-life shots for Anatomic Shoes' Spring/Summer campaign (produced in collaboration with Nic at Kube Design), in preparation for catalogue wet-proofing next week.

In addition, we started retouching still-life homeware images for White Stuff's SS16 press pack, alongside accessories for Instyle's April issue.

Over to fashion, the team captured beautiful lace dresses and shirts for Sonia H, through Black Diamond PR, as well as t-shirts for Cako Boutique, thanks to client Richardson & Squibb.

It was then party time in the studio, shooting colourful and jewelled prom dresses for designer dress hire boutique Rent Rock Return.

Away from the studio, Paul joined Rosie Meckiff Mengel from agency partner Scout Management, for a meeting with Red and Cosmopolitan Managing Editor Merrick Cassanova. Watch this space for future news on our work with the Hearst brands.

Finally, we welcomed the team from Boux Avenue, shooting lingerie and sleepwear for their social media platforms and window displays. If stuck for Valentine's gift inspiration check out their range online or in store (image below from previous shoot).
